Set up Multi-Factor Authentication in five (5) easy steps:
Step 1: Log in to your Client Portal, and you will be prompted to set up Multi-Factor Authentication.
Step 2: Select the "Authenticator app":
Note: If you skipped, you will be asked again to set up MFA after 7 days.
Step 3: Scan the QR code using your Google Authenticator or 1Password application, or manually enter the setup key as shown below:
Step 4: Enter the code from your authenticator app, then click "Verify":
Step 5: Save your backup codes by clicking "Copy all codes," then hit "I've saved my codes" to complete the setup:
Note: Ensure you save your codes now, as you won't be able to access them or retrieve your backup codes again.
You are done! You should be able to access your Client Portal now!
Using a backup code
If you do not have access to the phone where your MFA app is installed, you can still log in using one of your backup codes.
Please note that each backup code can only be used once. Once all backup codes have been used, you will need to enter a code from your authenticator app or contact Blueberry Support to request an MFA reset.
What to do if I got locked out?
Before you are locked out after multiple failed attempts, you will be warned how many attempts you have left to log in.
After the 5th failed attempt, your account will be temporarily locked for five minutes:
During this period, you won't be able to enter any MFA code or proceed to log in. Do not panic; you should be able to enter a new code again after five minutes.
If you no longer have access to your MFA, reach out to Blueberry Support at [email protected] for an MFA reset.
